# Download Rate Card (PDF)

Download one of your rate cards as a PDF price table.

## /rate-cards/mine/:rate\_card\_id/download/pdf

<mark style="color:blue;">`GET`</mark> `https://api.terminal.africa/v1/rate-cards/mine/:rate_card_id/download/pdf`

This endpoint returns the same price table as [Get My Rate Card](/tship/rate-cards/get-my-rate-card.md), rendered as a landscape A4 PDF — suitable for sending to a customer or filing against an invoice.

#### Path Parameters

| Name                                             | Type   | Description                              |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ------ | ---------------------------------------- |
| rate\_card\_id<mark style="color:red;">\*</mark> | String | Unique ***rate\_card\_id*** of the card. |

#### Headers

| Name                                            | Type   | Description                      |
| ----------------------------------------------- | ------ | -------------------------------- |
| Authorization<mark style="color:red;">\*</mark> | String | Set value to `Bearer SECRET_KEY` |

#### Response

On success the response is the **file itself**, not a JSON envelope:

| Response header     | Value                                               |
| ------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Content-Type        | `application/pdf`                                   |
| Content-Disposition | `attachment; filename="<card name>_<currency>.pdf"` |

For a card named `DHL Export Strategic` in `NGN`, the filename is `DHL_Export_Strategic_NGN.pdf`. Spaces and punctuation in the card name are replaced with underscores.

{% hint style="info" %}
The PDF contains prices only. To read which countries and locations fall into each zone column, use [Download Rate Card Zones (PDF)](/tship/rate-cards/download-rate-card-zones-pdf.md).
{% endhint %}

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="403 Not assigned to your account." %}

```javascript
{
    "status": false,
    "message": "This rate card is not currently assigned to your account",
    "data": null
}
```

{% endtab %}

{% tab title="404 Rate card not found." %}

```javascript
{
    "status": false,
    "message": "Rate card not found",
    "data": null
}
```

{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.terminal.africa/tship/rate-cards/download-rate-card-pdf.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
